May 19, 2016, 12:11 pm This number has called me 5 times in the last three days leaving the same automated voicemail, that it's an officer from the IRS saying there is a criminal fraud case against me. I finally called the number back to tell the idiots to quit calling me. A guy with a strong middle eastern accent answered the phone with 'Officer Mike.' Seriously? I told him that it would be in his best interest to stop calling me and that I know they are trying to trick people into giving up personal information. I reiterated to stop calling and he told me 'That's fine. I will tell your local police to arrest you.' I just laughed uncontrollably and hung up. How does these people get away with this? May 21, 2016, 3:15 pm Called today saying he was from the irs and I was gonna to be " behind bars" for for lying on my taxes in 2009. Laughed and told him I was already "behind bars" for 2009. Don't owe the irs anything for that year. Lol... Not to mention everything from IRS comes certified mail. What bothers me the most is they had my address on file already. May 24, 2016, 2:36 pm I called this phone number and was directed to people claiming to work for the IRS Crime Investigation Division stating that I owed $3,500 to the IRS. It was a clever plan scam where I had to call them since they left me a message about a criminal law suit file against me. After speaking with the 1st person who try to convince me to settle via phone with a credit card, I asked to speak to her supervisor who couldn%u2019t even confirm my personal cell # nor SS#. He then transfer me over to their lead manager. All of them spoke with a heavy Indian accent and were sketchy and couldn%u2019t answer a lot of my questions. The lead manager said IRS sent an official document to my home address via UPS back in Feb. and that it was delivered and signed for. When I ask who signed for it, he said he couldn%u2019t read the signature. I ask him to provide me the tracking number which he did but when I looked it up online with UPS the tracking # didn%u2019t even registered. I told him to hold on and that I was going to put an attorney on the phone and he told me yes, then hung up on me. May 24, 2016, 6:13 pm I received the same call when i called the irs to figure out what was going on they said it was a scam and to advise the caller that i have notified my local law enforcement. He also told me my childrens lives where affected and that if i didnt pay 4500 within 1 hour my adult childrens wages would be froze and garnished! so of course i told the man that if he didn't remove my name form the calling list i would be reporting it he kindly told me to "f" off and hung up on my i have received 40 plus phone calls in the last 7 days from the same number i block the number and i get a call from a number 1 digit off the first 100 i blocked! LOL these calls start at 0430 pst time...the only good these calls are doing is ensuring i am at work on time every day including saturdays and sundays lol Caller Type: Violent Threats

I told him that the IRS would send me the information by mail and not by phone. He continued and I told told him not to call me again or I would inform the authorities and he hung up. May 26, 2016, 5:44 pm Called numerous times as Officer Mike. Then started calling as attorney Daniel Weisman regarding a criminal case with the IRS (Ignorant Ripoff Service ?) with a CF number. I called back several times and got 3 different men answering to the name of Daniel Weisman. One with an Indian accent, one with an English accent and one with a slight Asian accent. Two additional calls yielded two different women supposedly secretaries. The first two times the caller ended up cussing me out and threatened local police. I said "jump on it". The additional calls ended up on them hanging upon me. I didn't even get the chance to tell them IRS doesn't notify people of criminal case by phone. May 26, 2016, 8:58 pm This number called me today claiming the IRS was filing a lawsuit against me for fraud and I owed them $3000. They were very nasty and told me I either needed to pay now or I would go to jail for 6-7 years and the police would be coming to arrest me right after the phone call. This foreign guy told me his name was "Michael Miller" but could tell me nothing about the "proof" he had against me. I just don't know how these people can sleep at night trying to get away with scamming innocent people.

May 27, 2016, 10:44 am We received the exact same phone message from Daniel Wiseman claiming to be an officer of the IRS and stating that there was a criminal law suit filed against us. We were able to actually speak with someone on our third attempt and the woman had such a thick accent that if was difficult to understand much of what was said but she mentioned that we had committed tax fraud sometime between 2004 and 2012 and that we would be taken to court if we didn't pay what was owed immediately.
