May 20, 2016, 11:23 am Knew it was a scam, called the number back and was told "Fu** you" when I called them out on being scams. I called back 15 minutes later and kept the guy on the phone for 10 minutes until he figured out I was messing with him. May 20, 2016, 3:50 pm This is the third year that I got this IRM scan call. I called them back and played naive for a minute until the women said that she was Officer Bla Bla. I cursed her and she hung up. Few minutes ago they called again and left a voice message. I am disgusted with these scammers and want to run for an office to put an end to this garbage, where millions of US citizens are harassed and financially victimized. May 24, 2016, 6:36 pm Today I received a call and it was a machine saying the IRS had a lawsuit against me. I called the number back and a man answered. There was a lot of background noise so I didn't get to hear his name or the company name. I asked his name and he failed to provide me with one. He asked mine and after I did he "confirmed my telephone number" he proceeded to say the IRS had a lawsuit against me because the were discrepancies in my tax returns from 09 to 2014! When he said that I repeated the years and he said yeah. I thought he would say more but he didn't. I stayed on the line quiet and they hung up on me. I searched the number and came across this page. May 24, 2016, 7:07 pm We've received two calls from this number. One I hung up on today -- early in the morning. The other I discovered had left VM on our machine, probably two days ago. In both cases clearly robot female voice saying "We've been trying to reach you. This is the IRS (that's Internal Revenue Service) and we are filing a lawsuit against you. Call immediately...", etc. SURELY the FBI can trace the owner of this phone! The scammer must get enough return calls to make it worth their while, which is a tragedy! Says I will be taken under custody by local cops as there are 4 serious allegations pressed on my name at this moment. Would request I get back to them so that we can discuss about this case ??? before taking any legal action against me. Who leaves a message like this with so many screw ups in it? Local cops? Discuss about this case??? Sounds like they have pieced together some recording. This is the second time they have called and left a message like this on my phone.
