June 17, 2016, 1:50 pm Received a voicemail from this number stating "legal action is going to be taken". I called and the person answering did not identify himself as an IRS agent until I asked (first clue). He stated that I received a registered letter in 2015 that I ignored and was very rude in stating that I had ignored the IRS. I then knew this was a scam. He tried to keep me on the telephone and refused to send anything to me in the mail (definitely not the IRS). Caller Company: No caller or company ID given Caller Type: Scammer/Phisher

June 17, 2016, 5:51 pm Similar message left on my machine today with a female robotic voice. Stating there are 4 allegations against me and that if I don't respond the local cops will come after me. Googled "tax scams" and the exact message on my machine was listed to be the same message many others have received. Delete the message, don't respond! Caller Company: 213-228-5629

June 20, 2016, 4:27 pm Got a call that I would be taken into custody if I don't call within 24 hours. Los Angeles came up on caller ID. Never been to California, have no tax things in California. What a joke!

June 21, 2016, 11:33 am I got a call, didn't ask from my name, just went right into their scam stating there are 4 allegations against me and that if I don't respond the local cops will come after me. The IRS, if this is who they're posing as, does NOT make calls. Everything I've read about this says it's a scam. Beware. Caller Company: No company is listed in my voicemail.
