November 2, 2014, 4:02 am Fake debt collection attempt. They will make threats about suing your or having you arrested. If nothing was sent to you in writing for official documentation of the debt then they are illegally contacting you. You can't just go around threatening people with lies about arrest. Indian accents so I wouldn't put too much confidence in the legitimacy of this caller. Indian scammers are one of the biggest problems with scam calls these days. September 30, 2015, 12:50 pm A fake payday loan debt collection attempt and threats of legal action. They threatened to take me to court over a fraudulent payday loan, I have never taken a payday loan in my life. I advised them to contact my attorney, needless to say, they never called and magically their email was then defunct and could not be contacted again.
