July 29, 2015, 9:58 am The man on the phone got very angry with me when I would not give him information about my current loans such as amount, interest, and personal information. I am highly suspicious of this caller and think others should be too. Call official numbers to the offices to make certain of the offers on phones. Never believe it right away. August 9, 2015, 11:40 pm This could very well be a scammer posing at the Veteran's Benefits Service trying to phish data from your with offers for renewed loans to save money. They are calling people are not Veterans with the same offers assuming you are greedy to accept the "easy loan" like they are stupid about giving free money away. August 21, 2015, 1:17 pm The caller for me was the "Nationwide Mortgage - Veterans Benefits Services" and they wanted to discuss refinancing options to help with reducing debt loads. I called the local regional office for the Veteran's Benefits Service department with Nationwide and they had no idea who called me and told me there was no offers as was suggested on the phone.
