March 30, 2014, 10:25 pm Travelocity calling back to inform me about the status of a change in my flight schedule. Some people also claim Air Canada is calling them from this line for baggage or flight issues which is weird since the number is in Virginia. The message was very garbled but, based on what I could understand, am fairly certain it related to a lost baggage claim we had recently placed with Air Canada. This person had no information about my past Holiday Inn visitation history and then proceeded to transfer me to a woman who wanted to offer me a free weekend getaway. They have information about me from passed visits and they said I could get a free weekend stay if I participated in the survey. I didn't want to waste my time so I hung up. Usually businesses have a recording stating their name, but when I called back there was a basic automated msg which seemed suspicious. October 16, 2015, 1:58 am They called me claiming to be with Holiday Inn, IHG rewards club. They were trying to get me to pay $199 To receive a vacation to Las Vegas. They even directed me to the actual website for IHG trying to gain credibility. I called them out on it and they got very aggressive and hung up on me. Caller Type: Scammer/Phisher

October 31, 2016, 11:16 am Received a call from a woman with a heavy accent who claimed to be from Cheap Tickets. I didn't answer the call so she left a message. She said there was a schedule change in my upcoming flight and that I needed to call them back to confirm my flights. I do have a flight scheduled next year through Cheap Tickets so at first I was wondering if it were legit. But she was never specific except to use my name. When I called the number back, I got a busy signal. I'm pretty sure Cheap Tickets has always emailed me in the past with changes or confirmations so this has to be a scam.
