Sure would be nice if the telephone company, FCC, Public Service Commission, attorney general (or just someone, anyone) could put a stop to these harassing and threatening calls. You know they are a scam when the call comes in as "Unavailable" and if they do give a made up company name, it is mumbled so to be unidentifiable. She was saying it is last chance before it will permanently affect this person's record. Then it said today is Tuesday Apr 26th (which is correct), and they must call before Wednesday Mar 27th (which makes no sense). Either "Sylvia" is a very realistic computer voice with a couple of program glitches, or it is a real person that is very unintelligent. And yes there was some mumbling and then a man named Bruce did a recording to continue the harassment. I got a call like this last June and so I immediately recognized it as a scam. It's crazy how many of these things are happening today. If you or your relatives get calls like this always tell them to look up the number on the internet and they will be able to see like other people that it's a scam through websites like this. He said they needed to know if it was done intentionally or just an oversight. Being the curious person I am I called back and said I received a scam voicemail from this number. This time it was Carol, I do not remember last name because she was not looking for me. How can you serve court papers to someone over the telephone? Bogus! They been harassing me so I called them back and said, I do not believe you can serve papers or be duly served over a telephone, especially when you do not know if the person actually stays at that phone number!! Needed to know "if this was intentional or an oversight." Since this was left at my office number, I returned the call to find out what it was about. Some other lady indicated that neither my name, my office number or my cell number (which I was calling from) was coming up and I could disregard it. When I called back and asked for Sylvia the lady who attended the call (talking in a rude way) and asked me if I am Byron Moore.
