The Indian or Pakistani accented man said he was from Toronto, but refused to tell me where exactly in Toronto he was. We argued over this fact for a moment before I hung up on him. August 19, 2015, 4:40 am I got a scammer with an Indian accent claiming to be from Bell and was offering a promotional package. They said I already have services with them that I don't have. Definitely believe that this is a scam that other people should avoid. If it isn't a scam then there is some kind of third party call centre with bad customer information. August 30, 2015, 6:24 pm Scammers that will claim to be from either Bell Canada or Rogers Canada and will offer you new promotional packages for TV, Internet, and Phone. They may confidently say that they see that you already have some of these services or all and then offer the special package. September 19, 2015, 8:27 am Sales calls from Bell Canada. They are offering new promotions. I told them that I was on the DNC list and they choose to hang up on me. I called them back and asked to speak to their manager and the person said they were the manager and then hung up on me again. Nice service at Bell, huh? October 4, 2015, 8:34 pm Weird calls from Bell with people with very strong Indian accents. I told the person that I was on the do-not-call list and needed to speak to the manager immediately about this. They hung up on me and then called back a second time. Said they could see my computer CSID number and all the details. I asked for independent confirmation of their business (Send me an email) which they refused. I hung up. Nasty, scary people. November 18, 2015, 2:28 pm Just (2:15 P.M.) got a call from this number. If I'm home and don't recognize a number, I do not answer. If it's serious, they'll call back! Left no voice message. Looks as though I made the right choice in this case. Too bad that the regulators do so very little about this type of crap . . . there must be something in it for them? Caller Type: Unknown

November 28, 2015, 4:24 pm Call from this number was a guy claiming to be David Sawyer. I has won a prize from publisher's clearing house (I had won the grand prize of 18.5 million) even though I never entered the contest. Ultimately asked for $350 to be sent via Western Union so the prize could be distributed. He said he was from Toronto, Ontario. I asked him for his address and telephone number and he hung up.
