June 20, 2015, 2:31 am This could be a scam, but remember that debt collectors have to obey privacy laws so sometimes the calls they make sound creepy and criminal in nature as they have to verify information from you first without revealing any personal information about money problems that could embarrass someone or get a person fired from their job. July 13, 2015, 6:03 am Odd call where the person left a message on my voice mail that said I was a special person of interest in an investigation and need a statement from me. No idea what the investigation is or who they are calling about. Nobody I know is being investigated as far as I know for any financial problems. I think this is a scam. October 19, 2015, 5:13 pm i don't know how this company got my phone number leaving messages for my girlfriend about four child support cases, she only has one child that's 21 years old. then all of a sudden this high point assets calls my phone want her to call back. this sounds like a scam and freaky at the same time... October 23, 2015, 4:27 pm Received the same type of call several times. We were told that we had some pay day loan debt that they were trying to collect. We don't have any pay day loan debt, have NEVER used Pay Day loan. I argued with them and told them that if they have proof of any kind to send me copies. They claimed they could not do that but they could accept a credit card payment for the debt. They were very aggressive about the whole thing and wanted to let me know I was being recorded and that I only had 9 days to do so. so I told them well record this, When you send me some sort of proof then maybe we can talk about it, but until then shove it. November 24, 2015, 9:27 am They called me and my family multiple times, saying I owed payday loans. I doubt they will be doing that again since they found out I have not been in the country for the last 5 years. Plus, it is illegal to take out payday loans on military pay of any kind.
