July 10, 2015, 6:31 pm I got a call from an jerk saying he was from Midland Credit and he wanted to verify information from me without telling me much more about himself. I refused to do this and found it very suspicious, but research shows that this is common behavior for debt colletors to avoid certain privacy laws. August 2, 2015, 11:26 am This is "Midland Credit" and they are calling me about debts I from years ago that as far as I know have been paid off. I can't be 100% sure, but I don't feel I left this debt unpaid. I will be ignoring this company and debt as debt collection is powerless to do anything. Most go unpaid with no consequences. August 5, 2015, 5:10 am This is Midland Credit and they are junk collectors. Probably have outdated lists from junk debts you don't need to worry about anymore. Most of these junk collectors are using very old lists and make calls to scare people into paying whatever they can. Just ignore as you don't need to bother with old debts or outdated lists. August 25, 2015, 2:57 pm This is a junk debt collection agency called midland credit management and they buy junk debt that is almost impossible to collect for next to nothing and then make massive calling campaigns to threaten people to get as many people to be honest a possible. When you buy the debt contracts for almost nothing this becomes a very profitable business. Even 1% collections or less is big money for them. August 28, 2015, 8:45 am Midland Credit which from my research is a number of other parents companies involved with this debt collection that involves over 2000 people in India as employees. So it's a big time junk debt collection scheme and if you didn't get an official letter stating your debts clearly then ignore all debt collection calls. October 28, 2015, 2:05 pm I have had multiple calls from this Company Midland or whatever it is. These people are relentless! They also call from 877-434-3695 and never start the conversation off on a good note. They are apparently trying to reach someone that had this number before me and since I've had it for about 3 years they clearly have old info.
