June 20, 2015, 1:10 am AT&T Mobile calling for bill collections on unpaid accounts. They wanted to confirm my ss#, my address, and my name. Wouldn't say much else. This is probably so they can build a profile on me for further collection attempts or make reports on my credit report. If you don't offer the info then they will go away. There is nothing they can do if you don't offer to assist them or stupidly choose to be honest with them. Just ignore and this go away. I have dealt with this debt problem years ago and I think even the statute of limitations has passed on the debt. Not going to address further calls. The caller id said "EOS CCA" and this bill was for a cancelled contract that had overuse on it with fees for the overuse instead of cancelling the account as requested. I have no bad debt so if this is a collections agency, this number may have been previously used by another person who had a bad debt. I did not answer the call because I did not recognize the number. Looked it up here. They have no power and can't take you to court. They will lose money if they do anything serious to you. They need your honesty to collect the money so ignore them. I think some of you should check to ensure this is a third party AT&T actually contracted to collect for them. April 30, 2016, 5:43 am I have no debts and my cell bill is paid automatically. On on the Do Not Call list and continue to get calls quite often. If they were to ask for my SS# I would make sure I. got their name and turn them in.

May 25, 2016, 5:01 pm A third party debt collector from EOS CCA called because I reported AT&T for suspicious activity. AT&T collections agent Rico Griffin, responded to my claim and said he was from the "Office of the President." He is in collections, sitting in a cubicle, just like the rest of the AT&T workers, trying to intimidate me. He was extremely rude and belligerent and exacerbated the issues. Having been scammed before I am very suspicious of calls from numbers like this so I looked the number up on here. Thank you to all the posts on here so I don't waste my time on here. Before the person had a chance to speak other than his name I told him that I had looked this number up and that I knew that they were just bs and never to call again. He hung up on me. June 13, 2016, 11:35 am I do not have AT&T and never have. I am up to date on all my bills. I saw this # come up a few times on my caller I.D. and noticed they never left a message. I finally called the number back and realized I was speaking to someone in another country. His English was so poor I knew it was a SCAM call. I asked why he was calling. He said I was overdue on a bill. When I asked what bill he hung up on me. Now whenever they call if I do answer, they hang up before I can tell them off! LOL! June 14, 2016, 9:40 am I never answered the call, but numerous sites say they collect for AT&T and PayPal. My PayPal account is in good standing and never gets used. I've never had an AT&T account. August 1, 2016, 9:08 am I agree with Anonymous. I had service with AT&T for both my daughter and I. Our calls would cut off in mid conversation, we didn't receive text messages until 3 days later. AT&T told me it was the phones and we had to contact the manufacturer of those phones. WRONG! I cancelled and had was charged a fee. They say I broke my contract. I say no, you broke your contract with me to provide service. Worst company ever. I reported them to the BBB. A lot of good that did. The rep lied to the BBB about our phone conversations and the BBB believed them.
