January 28, 2016, 6:17 pm I received the call and could barely understand the lady on the line. I called it back and the guy gave me his ID# (I'm sure fake) and told me that I had a warrant ready to be served along with anything I said would be used it court. I kept asking pertinent questions, he became frustrated and belligerent and finally hung up on me. I just LOVE getting the best of these idiots! Funny thing was they asked who they were speaking to and I replied, "Who are you calling for?" They stated 2 people and asked which one they were talking to in regards to this. February 2, 2016, 8:06 pm I could barely understand the man who said that he was from the US Treasury. Said I was charged with failure to pay taxes and filing a wrongful death claim. He said authorities would arrive in 30-45 minutes. He became upset when I told him that at least that gives me time to eat dinner. She said it was my 'last chance' and if I did not call her back, she wished me luck and said I was on my own. Of course a scam. I feel for the elderly and na�ve who would be frightened. These people should be persecuted to the fullest extent of the law, and IF citizens, their citizenship should be revoked and they should be deported to the middle of a desert somewhere. February 4, 2016, 6:22 pm Just called back the # because I honestly thought I was in trouble. Said I underpaid my taxes in 2012 and there was an federal arrest warrant out for my arrest. Said I owed $5000 and asked could I go to my bank or use my debit card now. Weird now that I'm thinking about it why would I take cash out to oa federal government. They had my address though, as well as first and last name. And it was a man. Cracking noise in back round as well. So this is definitely a scam??? March 12, 2016, 11:01 am My old landline number was ported to my wife's cell phone several years ago. A call from this phone number left a voicemail for me on her voicemail. First red flag was the fact that my wife kept her maiden name, and her voicemail greeting doesn't mention my name at all. The thick accented male voice urged me to respond immediately, or my "attorney of record" under threat of serious consequences. If he identified who he was with, it was a part I couldn't understand. He said his name was Tony. Out of curiosity I called the number on a Saturday to see if they answered. The voicemail greeting was a female voice with a thick accent claiming I had reached the "legal affairs division of the US Treasury Department." I've blocked the number. I called and got ahold of a man that you can not understand asked me my name, I told him, and the phone immediately hung up? So, I called back 6 more times and was an answering machine that can not take any more messages. People the IRS sends certified letters if you owe them. April 7, 2016, 4:58 pm Left Voicemail to call back they were with the IRS. Kimberly Love shows up on the caller id. They called back stating she was with the IRS and they had a warrant out for my arrest because I still owed the IRS on taxes. I explained I file taxes every year. I was told yes but it wasn't filed correctly. I was told within the next six months someone would come and arrest me and what did I want to do about it.
