They called and said they could lower my credit card interest rate.
The identified themselves as Credit Card Services.
This sales ploy is false as my sole credit card company, Chase,
does not use third party agents to deal with customers who have credit in good standing.

Our family was awakened at 5:10 AM this morning with a robo call from this number. The message was advertising a medical alert system. They have called many times before. How can this be stopped? We re-registered on the do not call list but it doesn't seem to make any difference.

They keep calling about once a week, sometimes twice a week. They will not leave a message. The DNC List is of no help with stopping these calls. From other sources the number belongs to a "credit card reducing" company. Otherwise known as SPAM.

Keep a whistle by the phone. push the number to
talk with a rep. When they answer give them a nice long tweet. I wish I could do more but their
number is spoofed.

Called again and left no message. I do not answer any calls if I don't recognize the number, plus I block them. Let them try again.

Keep getting repeated calls from this number, have called customer service at Verizon to see what they can do. Verizon suggest calling the do not call center, however, the do not call center seems to be broken. I think next time I get a call, I will push the button to talk with a live customer, then start pushing all the buttons on my home phone, so that they will think it is a fax machine. Have done this several times in the pass...result....no more phone calls.

Don't pick up the phone -
They could be testing to see if they get a live person and then sell a list of confirmed phone numbers.
The credit card service could be someone phising. You know when they ask for your credit card number.
DO NOT GIVE anyone calling you personal information, credit card, bank account numbers, address. Most banks & credit card companies don't use those methods of contacting you.
Anyone sound legitimate probably isn't so ask for a phone number that you can call them back on.
