A fraudulent credit card services company call with fake offers for reduced rates or other credit card promotions that require very quick action to get the deal. The call was automated and they try to get you to type your number into the phone for verification purposes which should be the first sign that this is a scam. Your real credit card company does not need to verify you when they call you for promotions. They would most likely send you a letter with the real offer, not call you. If they did verify you it's usually only when you call them direct for security purposes...not when they call you.

You can speak to a real person when this number calls by pressing a number off the menu they give you, but it won't help you. I did this and wanted to request removal from their list, but they hung up on me. They are obviously criminals just faking the appearance of the credit card services company with a professionally cloned voice menu system. They skim your data with computers that read the tones when you enter in the cc#. Criminal organization. Be careful

This scammer calls numbers on the national do not call registry in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act. They further violate the TCPA by failing to have an operator on the line when the call is answered, and still further by playing a recorded message without an operator on the line to pause or stop the recording and answer questions. When you do get to an operator, they further violate the TCPA by refusing to provide a phone number or physical address when asked - something that any legitimate business would do, even if it weren't required by law. This is clearly a scam, as they are trying to get your credit card and banking information claiming they are calling from your credit card company and need to lower your interest rates. Do not provide this scammer with any personal or financial information.

These people call multiple times a week. Want to lower my interest rates. Is there a way to stop this from happening? I have pressed the number multiple times to be removed from their list. I have even talked to them and asked to be removed. Today I was just hung up on because I asked for a supervisor. What can we do to end this? They are not legit. They also tell you this is your final notice so take advantage of this opportunity now. Then they call back the next day.

They call my landline every day. Is there a way to stop these calls? They are a nuisance and a total waste of my time. I am on the Do Not Call Registry but I guess it doesn't matter.

This scammer calls numbers on the national do not call registry in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act. They further violate the TCPA by failing to have an operator on the line when the call is answered, and still further by playing a recorded message without an operator on the line to pause or stop the recording and answer questions. When you do get to an operator, they yet further violate the TCPA by refusing to provide a physical address or a phone number when asked. When you ask to speak to a supervisor, the operator threatens that he has your name and address on his screen, and he will send someone to hurt you. Their recording states that this is your second (but they've called many more times than that) and final (but you can be assured they will call again) notice to lower your credit card debt and that you need to speak to them immediately. This is clearly a scam. Do not provide this scammer with any personal or financial information.
