They are probably calling for some kind of medical bill incurred that is not covered under the free Canadian Healthcare services. Check your bills to see if you are up to date. The entire message was automated and they didn't reveal what they wanted until the end of the call. Just medical bills you need to pay up on. May 9, 2015, 8:38 am I am very suspicious of this number. It's an automated call that mentions ambulance services needing bills paid for monies owed. I have never even been in an ambulance so I have no idea why I would owe money on it. Be careful with this number. With all debt collections calls you should have gotten a letter or it's a dead end collection attempt. Legally, most debt collections are scams which hope you make you guilty or nag you into paying. They are calling for someone who doesn't live in my home anymore (family member) and I refused to give them the new contact information on the family members when they asked for it. I've spoken to a number of government agencies and they've all said that they don't make calls for funds such as this caller. Caller will tell you with an automated message that you are behind on your payments. No idea what payments this is. I hung up. Immediately attempted to call back using the number provided on the back of my monthly MSP bill only to find the office is closed on Saturday which directly contradicts the voice mail I received.
