November 27, 2016, 9:38 am Called at 8am on a Sunday morning wanting to verify transactions on my credit card. Could barely understand what the woman was saying, so I got online and checked my statements while on the phone with her, and there was nothing other than a transaction I had made over a week ago. November 30, 2016, 9:34 am Anyone claiming that this number is legitimate is LYING! IT IS A SCAM!!!! They call and have an automated messages saying that they are in the "transaction review department" of [Insert Bank Name Here], and tell you to call them back. First of all, if you have EVER gotten such a call, it's a LIVE PERSON with your credit card or bank's security team, NOT a recording telling you to call them back. Long story, short. I called my bank this morning. There's no problem with my transactions. And I gave them the number so their security team could look into the SCAM. April 9, 2017, 8:41 pm I have gotten calls from this number twice over the past two years. Both times someone was making purchases using my card number. When I contacted my bank the first time they told me it was a Fraud Protection Corp. They used. I'm glad they called, saved me over $500.00. |
