Sometimes they continue to call even if you are paid of because their system needs to catch up. Use the number on the back of your card to call them direct to verify. February 24, 2015, 7:03 pm I think this is a scam. I don't have a chase card account and when I called chase using the number on their website I asked to see if my name had a chase account, possibly from a store card, and they said that I didn't have one. So whoever called me I believe is a scam. The number may be a legit chase number, but you have to remember that scammers can fake the legit numbers as well. So there is no security in anything with these callers unless you call the number on the back of your card yourself to speak to a live agent to confirm the account status. March 8, 2015, 9:47 am In my case I don't have a Chase card and the person calling me wanted me to verify personal information to be 100% certain of my identity. I refused to give them information that was too personal like SSN#. I think the number they are calling me on used to be someone else's number who might have had a chase account. March 19, 2015, 11:39 pm This was the Chase department for Amazon credit cards calling me about a late payment. I was late and called them up to verify it. My account was late and finally was made, however their constant calls are not acceptable to my standards. A letter would have sufficed or a single call with a voicemail message would have also been nice. Either way the issue seems to be settled now and all is good. Pay your bills.
