September 14, 2015, 4:56 pm The caller is "QVD" and they are a non-profit charity that is calling for retired America veterans of war. They want donations. October 7, 2015, 2:05 pm getting calls from this number daily. When I answer there is NEVER anyone on line. Next a recording states I can leave a message. I say OK and voice box rings maybe two times and message states that the box is full and the simply says.."goodbye". Have never spoken to anyone . Seems like robot calls and sham. October 7, 2015, 8:49 pm This is supposed to be a charity for the "Foundation for American Vets" and I did some research on it and one person was saying that 6% of the funds from this charity actually go to the vets. November 12, 2015, 5:24 pm Has called every day of the week and twice today asking "is the lady of the house there". The ID says QVD, I did not answer, I thought it was some jewelry place, why would they ask for the lady of the house. I am not answering nor calling them back, I hope they get the message.

I received the call at 8:19 this morning but the man came on so strong that it immediately set a red alert. They call me very early in the morning, around noon, and also very late at night. Report this phone number to the "Do Not Call" website every time they call. December 8, 2015, 7:54 pm A man called asking for my husband. He said they were collecting money to help veterans and they have helped at veterans hospitals. He asked if they would send an envelope could they count on me for a donation. I said, "Send your envelope & you'll get what ya get". I said my husband is a veteran, a disabled veteran, so money is tight. He said could they count on me for a lower amount, $15.00. I repeated, "You'll get what ya get". Must have gotten a lot of card numbers the way they sweet talk. They have your address and will send you material by mail. Discard. They will follow up with daily calls. This is a call center hiring phone scam artists to try their acting roll for sympathy monies. The verterans get squat. The monies go mainly to the scammer phone room and any left goes to some veteran group with a donation of some over declared useless junk. These criminals always keep one step ahead of the law. Im disabled and it is difficult for me to get to the phone, just to have the call be silent. I read they want money. Ha! So do I. Maybe I should call them six times per day until they cough some up. January 23, 2017, 6:19 pm They call my cell almost daily and when blocking the number with my anti-virus program, they just call a few days later with a new number. Unfortunately, the Do Not Call list does not apply to charities or anyone you have previously done business with so will not help here. But they ARE nuisance callers and can be reported to the FCC and Attorney General. Though they do not help you specifically, they do keep track of the complaints and will shut them down if possible. Problem is, they just pop up under a different name later. I now just ignore them and any other unknown number, knowing if they truly are someone I know or need to talk with, they will leave a message.
