January 29, 2015, 2:21 pm Same as above... The caller asked for me by name and identified herself as from Highmark, but then wanted me to provide information to verify my identity. I explained that I do not provide that information unless I initiated the call to a known number. She offered to provide a number to call her back. Hahahahaha. I said "No thanks. Is there anything important for why you are calling me?" She said she couldn't continue the call without my verification info. I declined and told her to reach me by mail. August 25, 2015, 5:57 pm This is the "Highmark Benefits Department" and they were calling me in response to an earlier inquiry that I had made. If you ask them to allow you to call them back to verify their identity they will say no and that it's not possible. So if you have trust issues you may need to call them direct. They do not want to give your personal information to someone else in your household. If you are weary ask for a phone number to call them back. I am a former employee of Highmark.
