January 13, 2017, 12:52 pm I've received at least a dozen calls A DAY for the last week from these Indian speaking men. I finally played along to see where it would go. They say they are calling from the US Grant department and tell me I need to answer the questions correctly in order to qualify. Ie, you want to go to school for business, childcare and computers, aren't being prompted what to say, and will go to back to school in two months." Then they said another number will call me to confirm my answers. When he asked me to "verify my address and date of birth" is when I got more firm with him and told him if I "qualified" then he would know all that. He got pushy and said they have all my info already they are just confirming. I hung up on him and blocked the number! I'm concerned these are violent people and will stalk and try to take identity information. This seems to be a bigger issue than just a spam call. I also will be reaching out to authorities. He kept asking, why, why, why? I hung up. He called right back. I put him on speaker and remained silent for about 2 minutes. He kept calling my name asking, 'are you there?'.
