September 12, 2014, 12:22 am They called me trying to get information on who is handling the affairs of my deceased mother in law trying to collect from the family. All debtors were notified of her passing and that there were no assets to pay any outstanding bills. Yet they still harass grieving family, my mother in law passed away 2 months ago. Very forceful and they said they cannot provide info on the client that they supposed to have, and yet insist you provide it to them. July 2, 2015, 10:06 am Got a call from this # stating they needed to speak to the estate administrator for my dad, who passed away recently. Kind of surprised he got my # when he stated he did an internet search for surviving family members, and got me not my mother? I don't have the same last name as my dad! Proceeded to record phone conversation according to state and federal laws. Will use recording against them if they call again. Suggest you: 1. Ignore their attempt to collect. 2. January 20, 2016, 3:35 pm Called looking for my spouse. Refused to give their name, or company name when I asked, because I would not tell them my full name. They hung up on me. When I called back, the person who I spoke with was incredibly rude, wanting to know when I got married to my spouse. She implied I was lying when I told her I was unaware of what she was talking about, because she said "well, it's a little unusual for a spouse to not know about these things." She continuously interrupted me, and told me that they do not have to tell us their names or company name until we tell them who we are- which is untrue. June 28, 2016, 12:50 pm I received a call from this number yesterday. They left a voicemail stating they are debt collectors and are attempting to collect a debt. They told me the call will be recorded and left me a reference number. I researched the number and found they are a scam. I reported them to the state of OH fraud alert division. January 24, 2017, 7:32 pm Called my cell phone giving condolences for the loss of my family member then proceeded to ask me information regarding my handling of the estate. She informed me that I had an attorney so I told her she needed to contact him then. About two weeks later she calls the home phone stating that she spoke with me a few weeks ago and stated that she received a letter of rejection from my attorney and wanted to know why.
