July 27, 2016, 11:17 am I rec'd a call and the caller sounded like she was on drugs. Told me that I needed to contact this # ASAP. Called back was told by "Rob Jackson" who gave me his "badge #" they were looking for Pamela. I questioned why and he asked again if I was her. I stated I was but for verification they need my last name I said that if you are calling me they must know it. Told him I would report him and he started to laugh. You could tell it was a person leaving it but she sounded like she was reading a script, very robotic almost. This was incredibly weird and a little scary so I'm glad that I am not the only one! August 1, 2016, 5:09 pm They called and claimed to be the IRS asking me if I've attained a criminal lawyer. Asked them why would I need a criminal lawyer. They stated IRS has filed a criminal suit against me. I laughed as I know if that were true I'd receive notice not a phone call from someone who cannot use proper English. I hubg up and they called back threatening to have me arrested. The hilarity of it is insane. I called the IRS and they said they have been bombarded with calls asking why people are being sued. Number one you don't need a criminal lawyer for the IRS and if so you would t receive a phone call. Criminal attorneys are when you've committed a crime and need handcuffs. Smh. August 9, 2016, 10:56 am I'm fine with the IRS but, I was concerned when I got a voicemail message so I called them back. After a minute, the conversation just began to unravel. When has the IRS ever said you can make a payment using an Apple I-tune card or pay at a Kroger store (Food 4 Less)? The IRS doesn't care if you have a felony if you owe taxes. And if you do, it might not allow a payment plan. These fake folks said to make a good faith payment of $500.00 to avoid being arrested. I hung up the phone and called my tax preparer. It's fake.
