I has nothing do with that.. I think it's scam. because i am deaf. he said will send police to arrest me for it..then hang out off phone.. That's real scam or real irs? Help me!!! May 24, 2016, 11:31 am IRS would not have a foreign accent person calling you or threaten to have me arrested. I dont owe taxes i file every year and have all my transcripts. If you ever get a call from this number. Ask for a return number and name and tell them you are going to your local IRS building to deal with them directly. They will hang up. First off the IRS will not have foreign Indians call you claiming to sue you for money that you owe , you will always get a certified letter in the mail from the IRS they never call you ! I answered and it was a recording (ladies voice) saying they were the IRS and that they had filed a lawsuit against me and that I needed to call them back immediately. Did not call them back. When asked if the information could be mailed, the lady said let me see. Placed me on hold and never came back. I hung up after 5 minutes. June 3, 2016, 5:17 pm Got a call from this same number today. The guy said that I owed $6,000 in back taxes from 2010 to 2015 and that they had strong evidence that I intentionally misrepresented my taxes. They said that a lawsuit was already filled against me and due to the strong evidence I would be arrested immediately. They also said that the police were coming to arrest me right away unless I agreed to pay them in the next two hours. They said as a penalty for my fraudulent behavior I would be required to pay the federal government $83,000 and that liens would be placed on my property and my wages would be garnished. June 13, 2016, 10:37 am It's definitely a scam. They called us over and over so I had my husband call and find out. Apparently my husband had to go to CVS and get an Itunes gift card to pay off the $2500 against my husband. Also it was an Indian man. He tried to use a lot of scare tactics. Tried to get my husband to tell him how much money we have right now in the bank or how much cash we have on us. Also he was not allowed to talk to anyone about this conversation for an hour if he did the cops would come and arrest him. So yeah total scam. The IRS wants us to pay with an ITUNES gift card, sure. June 15, 2016, 4:39 pm I had fun with this scam. I played with them and said if all you want is $2,579 then that was fun cause if the "IRS" really knew what I was doing I'd have them crashing my door in. Then I asked for a bank account number to send it to and I would take my multi-million dollar account I have in the Cayman Islands that y'all don't know about and have to them in a half hour. Then I kept calling and got multiple fakes names and badge numbers. Hint guys a real federal agent has more than 4 digits in their badge number.
