I've been seeing "TOLL FREE CALLER" on the caller Id when they call me lately. I called them back and left a message after to be removed from their list. Found it rather odd that they would keep my contact information for that long. In my case I had to get both mine and my husband's name removed from their database in order to stop the calls completely as they were calling us both individually. Every few years I have them check my carotid arteries for blockage via ultrasound. They offer a variety of tests to prevent stroke, heart attacks, neuropathy, etc. When they call, it's a good reminder and I appreciate their call.

August 11, 2015, 7:57 pm Lifeline screening called my phone multiple times, either from their main number or as restricted, which I refuse to answer. The one time I did however, I said 'Hello' at least 5 times and nothing happened. I blocked them in my phone, however they called as restricted and left a voicemail. Called back and talked to someone in their support department, they had no problem taking my phone out of their system. My number was recycled a decade or so ago because of an area code split, so I have had this happen before. Seems like a legit caller, just don't know why no-one answers when you actually pick up. October 25, 2016, 10:13 am I got a call, answered the phone and the party hung up. I don't appreciate Lifeline screening acting like they don't know that I answered the phone. I used their service over a year ago. The bone density test they did, I did not have confidence in since my husband had one as well and they did it wrong so his results were not valid and that's the reason I wanted him to go in the first place. They also held it at a church and the pastor and all of his assistants were there, asking people if they were saved and what church they went to. This was most inappropriate and basically an invasion of privacy as we were not there for religious reasons. I only know who this party is because of the people commenting on this site.
