May 23, 2016, 1:22 pm A female recorded voice stating that they have a claim number on me for a case they are "handling" and advised me to call them back at 844-661-8919. I know its a scam pretending to be some debt collector. I'm sure they have my personal info but I don't buy into this for one second. May 24, 2016, 11:41 am Got at least 20 calls in the past week from this or similar numbers. Finally decided to answer. Said i owed a debt from 2012, which is not true. When I asked for their information and to send me the details in writing, the woman said they are not a mail service, just a debt collections service. May 24, 2016, 1:28 pm My story is similar to everyone else's. The "collector" said I owed a debt with a Payday Loan company from 2012. I have never gotten a payday loan in my life. What's scary is they had very detailed info like the last four of my social and the last four of a previous checking account. I asked her to send me conformation in writing and she refused. When I call them and have offered to provide the information that the debt is paid in full, they get all snitty about my refusal to pay. Have also told them about the statute of limitations being expired but they flat out tell me they will continue to call until I pay. How can I refuse to pay something I don't owe? May 24, 2016, 5:23 pm They have called both my parents cell phones asking for me. They call my landline as well as my cell. They have 3 different phone numbers they call from and I have blocked them all on my cell phone, but they can still call with those same phone numbers. I called them and told them they were a scam and the the lady told me to pay my bills and hung up. I called again and they had this all documented and the lady I talked to told me I had a payday loan from some place I never heard of. I told her I did not have this loan and please send me something in writing. She said they do not mail anything out. I was actually on an ABC Action News Segment in February..It stopped for awhile & all of a sudden started back up again.. I answered the phone from this number & was given another number to call..855-904-9884 when i called the number she asked why are you calling us we have already locked your account stating refusal to pay.. May 25, 2016, 10:55 am I get the same call every few months that say the same thing that I owe a payday loan. I never received a payday loan. I even went to the bank and got statements from when they said it happened. Surprise no money was deposited into my account. They call multiple times a day and even call my parents. I know it is a scam since I never took out the payday loan.. beware of 603-499-4558. I am getting calls from this number about the same thing.. I think if you owed me money I wouldn't wait for 3 or 4 years before I would try to collect it. One call to my folks said they were waiting at my house for me and I was sitting at home. this guy was Anthony Malone a cop I think he said back then. May 25, 2016, 3:45 pm Continuous daily phone calls sometimes multiple calls in one day. They claim I owe a pay day loan which I do not. They refuse to tell me what pay day loan company I supposedly owe the money to. I've asked to speak to a supervisor and requested to be removed from the call list multiple times and requested they send something in writing. May 25, 2016, 7:49 pm Got the same call. Said I didn't make good on a loan from 2011. When I asked for the name of the bank, account # and contact info, she told me that she couldn't give me that info for contractual agreement they have with them. When I said that we both know this is a scam, she started yelling at me. So I said to send me the paperwork so I can give the info to my lawyer and he can include it in my upcoming bankruptcy file (I'm not filing). She hung up on me. The nerve of her. LOL

When they tell me they will report me for an arrest warrant I tell them good luck and then inform them I'm turning them into The Fair Credit Act and local Sheriff's dept., they get mad and yell and then hang up. Same story every time trying to collect on a payday loan which was never taken out. Talked to a lawyer and even my state consumer affairs and all say they can't really do anything. The person hung up. Called them back let the Same person know that I was hung up on. She Sked what number I was calling from. I told her that she knows, as she has caller ID. She said the number that I was calling from was not in her system. So I asked--- then why are you calling it??? She hung up !!!! They never left a message until yesterday: (female caller) asked for the wrong person and said it was regarding a job I applied for on Indeed. WTH? June 2, 2016, 3:59 pm Same with me. Said they have info stating I defaulted on a loan from 2012 from TD bank. I do business with this bank!! I tried to get their info. Employee#, physical street address, hours of operation, employers name, e mail address, full name of business, (TACS?can't find it on the net)...they wouldn't share any other info....but yet they want your info...really?? June 7, 2016, 9:15 am On May 25th, I told them I was in the middle of filing bankruptcy and to send me the paperwork to include in my file. They hung up on me. The next day, they called once but didn't leave a message. That was the last time I've heard from them. Try it. If it works, let us know. This could be the way to get them to stop. |
