September 16, 2013, 2:04 pm Our office at Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime has been called several times a day for over a year by the phone number (866) 330-9237. They usually give us a person's name. We tell them we know nothing of the individual and they politely end hte conversasion. I have complained and on two occassions they had me hold while they supposily removed us from their calling list. The calls continued. Once I told them if we knew the person we still would not foward them. Since that time they've continued to call several times a day, but now they hang up on us when we answer. February 20, 2015, 12:40 pm This is a company calling for debt collection of old credit card debt that has expired on the statue of limitations. I think they buy the old junk debt for pennies and then try to scare people as quickly as they can to see if they can get anyone at all to pay up. Even small payments results in huge profits for companies like this. I wouldn't worry about it as debts like this are no longer recoverable by the original creditor and so this is just a desperate attempt to fool you with guilt or fear that you are still responsible for debt when legally you aren't. March 15, 2015, 5:15 pm This is a medical bill collection attempt for an old doctor's bill. They've called a number time and I had given them my address a few times so they can send me a bill, but they never do send me a bill. I was willing to pay the bill, but if they don't send me a bill in writing how can I? I refuse to pay it over the phone as I can't be 100% certain of who these people are. If nothing has come in the mail I am now going assume they are either not a legit debt collector or so incompetent or lazy they don't deserve the payment. January 18, 2016, 10:16 am What fed agency can I call to report this harassment from Rossman for a bill under $150. They call three times a day. I am ill and in bed!
