May 26, 2016, 9:23 am Got calls twice in one day with message left on my answering system - since the message was the same, I suspect it was a pre-recorded message. Basically said from the "State Treasury" and "by not responding it would be considered my 2nd attempt to avoid legal action against me." Continued to say that if I didn't respond I would have to go before a magistrate judge or the grand jury for a federal criminal offense. He said "we advise you to cooperate with us to help us to help you." You just called the wrong person buddy. I work in the court system and you will be reported to the Feds. You will never receive a phone call from the Feds if you owe them money. You will receive a certified letter and a chance to explain yourself should you owe any kind of money to the Government. They started calling me three months ago and I ignored them then. I'm on my sixth "second attempt to ignore this message". If it were true I'd be in jail by now. Must be a very lucrative scam cause they won't quit. Call them and advise them to take legal action "i'll see you in court." and stop ringing my phone. May 31, 2016, 5:58 pm It caused a lot of fear and anxiety, and made me feel like "everything was going wrong". It is so damaging that i saw nightmares. They are awful on the phone, pushing you to almost commit suicide (arrest report just issued, police will be at your door etc. The whole time not explaining what did i di wrong, and how i could submit a proof that there must be a mistake). I acted gullably due to vulnerability, bad timing. Called tax attorneys to realize it was a scam. Awful. Made me lose my sanity for a while. I called and he repeated the information. He told me he can have the FBI at my door in 30 minutes. I asked how much and he said 5,000. When I said, "I suppose you want a credit card number," he went on the defensive & asked if he had said that. He repeated it a few times. I then told him that he was full of sh*t and he called me a filthy name. I said, "See, I knew you were fake, if you were real you wouldn't call me names." When I started to say more, he hung up. If they are starting to show up as active again, do yourself and you neighbors a favor. Let your local TV station know so people will be told it is a scam.
