December 1, 2014, 6:27 pm We actually have a DUNS number, and we were used to hearing from them annually to verify our business info. Normally a quick conversation with a real person, confirming that their info about our business is accurate, and they would not call back for a year or more. Not a real bother. But even if the current crop of calls are coming from the real D&B, the persistent robocalling is obnoxious. I don't want them anymore. I forward our business number to an internet-based toll-free number that features a easily updated call block list. The blocked numbers hear an "out of service" message that I hope the robocalling machines interpret as a number to be dropped from their dialing system. May 18, 2016, 4:35 pm I work for Fairbanks Convention & Visitors Bureau, dba Explore Fairbanks, in Fairbanks, AK. I just had a call from 973-852-4473, with a gentleman claiming he was from Dun & Bradstreet, and needing to update their records. He asked if we were a corporation, and I said we were a non-profit organization. He then asked me if I made financial decisions in which I said no, and that he would have to talk to someone else. He said that he was referred to me. He then asked if the executive officer's email address was inso.explorefairbanks.com, in which I told him I've never heard of that email before (I've been working here for 8 years). I told him I didn't know if I could give him any information, and he said that was okay, he had all the information he needed and hung up. Caller Company: Dun & Bradstreet Caller Type: Unknown
